Popular Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua says he spoke in “parables” to his congregation about the accident that occurred at his Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria, weeks before it happened.
The collapse of an adjoining building within the church premises on Friday September 12, resulted in the death of some 15 people in the oil producing West African country.
Critics of Joshua have wondered why he could not preempt the accident, since he is known for predicting future events. He also said any keen follower of his live service broadcasts would have realised that he hinted at the incident days before it occurred .
“Don’t forget the message you have been receiving for the past two weeks. Take note, two weeks the message I have been giving to you, I was talking to you in parables.
“Go over the message, you will see the picture. When situations like this come, you should know how to handle it. It has come and God is on top of the matter”, he stated.
Joshua has described the accident as an attempt by his enemies to defame him and his church.
