President John Mahama has bemoaned the reduced inflows of financial assistance from multi-donor partners in the European Union.
“Recently, multi-donor partner support has been withheld from Ghana due to some issues”, the President said.
He added: “It is my expectation that as we go along, whatever difficulties exist, we will be able to iron out in order that we see a resumption of this budget support”.
Mahama expressed the concerns when the new head of the EU delegation William Hanna presented his letter of credentials to the Ghanaian President at the Flagstaff House.
“EU is a significant international development partner, especially, when it comes to issues with multi-donor partner budget support”, Mahama acknowledged.
