Outspoken Ghanaian journalist, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, well known as Captain Smart, has said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will win the 2020 elections easily if it was to be conducted today.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’, after the launch of Angel FM in Accra, Captain Smart stated that the President’s high chance of retaining his seat follows his great managerial skills.
He explained Nana Akufo-Addo has managed the issues of COVID-19 very well after it erupted in the country.
Making emphasis on the applause he has received globally, Captain Smart believes he will have a landslide victory over his opponents if the elections are to be held at the time of this interview.
Singing the praises of the President of Ghana, the veteran journalist stressed that Nana Addo has managed the COVID-19 issue to an excellent level and how he started the whole thing was perfect.
According to him, both the President and the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah have done extremely well.
Captain Smart talked about the positivity of using a seasoned broadcaster as an Information Minister. To him, they deliver so well when they are given such positions due to their proper background as media personalities.
He made mention of other countries apart from Ghana, who have media personalities as Information Ministers—and they are on top of their jobs.
Captain Smart indicated that Ghana has never had a bad President but the people around them causes the problem and dent their reputes.
