Rape discussions have assumed a centre stage in Ghana and Nigeria since two teenage girls were allegedly raped and murdered in Nigeria a few weeks ago. Sharing her own experience to reinforce the fact that rape abounds in our society just like the Western countries, the mother of one said a cousin once tried to rape her when she was just 8-years old.

Juliet also said an older cousin also tried to insert his fingers in her private parts at a point in time while her anty pimped her to a man so he could sleep with her. She made all this known in an interview with BBC Pidgin recently.

She shared excerpts of the interview on Instagram and we have it here for you.
