You give us life, a gift so profound
Your love and devotion, forever astound
Through toil and sweat, you labour each day
To put smiles on our faces, come what may
Your words may be few, but your actions speak true
Heaven knows the hardships you push through
I see your struggles, your tears unseen
Late-night work, when the world is serene
You’ve given your best, with all that you had
A symbol of strength, an unsung dad
Your labor extends beyond your own gain
But for your family, the seeds you’ve sown
Your Selflessness shines, like a beacon so bright
Your fruits of love, bring us warmth and light
Though underappreciated, you remain steadfast
Amidst a narrative that shadows your past
But today, I refuse to conform to the fray
I choose to honour you, each and every day
I pledge to respect your efforts, so grand
To love you deeply, as only a child can
For fatherhood is a symbol of responsibility
And you embody it, with unwavering nobility
So Happy Father’s Day, my dear father
Your sacrifices cherished, always held near
May your love be celebrated, far and wide
As we stand by your side, with unwavering pride.
