A pregnant woman delivered prematurely and died shortly afterwards following a bloody motor crash on the Accra-Kumasi Highway Friday.
Eyewitnesses said the baby survived. The remains of the woman have been deposited at the morgue of the Enyiresi Government Hospital in the Eastern Region.
The police have confirmed that 12 people died when two VIP passenger buses with over 60 people onboard clashed head-on at Ankaase near Osino Friday morning.
Several others are in critical condition at the hospital as three people have been referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi due to their deteriorating condition.
