Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah feels disturbed by the increasing number of speculative World Cup squads circling in the local media.
The past few weeks, three lists have been generated claiming the players named will make the provisional 30-man squad.
But the ex-Ghana captain and the federation have consistently rubbished those reports.
Appiah feels that this speculation might make some players bitterly disappointed if at the end of the day they are not called.
“It is not good to bring out any speculative provisional thirty man squad,” he told Kessben FM.
“Some of the players whose name would appear in such speculative lists might feel highly disappointed or traumatized if at the end of the day they are not part of the list I would bring.
“The best thing is for as to be patient and wait for the provisional thirty-man squad on the said date.”
Appiah will announce his preliminary 30-man squad on Monday.
