National Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu says it will only take divine intervention to revive Ghana’s ailing economy.

According to him, ‘we are entangled in a web of economic mess’ because the economy is being managed by people who cannot think outside box.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday, John Boadu pleaded with God “to keep our body and soul together until 2016 when Ghanaians will have the chance to correct the mistake” of voting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In his opinion, anyone who decide to vote for President John Mahama in 2016 would be rewarding “incompetence and mediocrity”.

The NPP National Organizer said there are real serious issues confronting Ghanaians and we need serious minded people to deal with them and not ‘propaganda minded people’.

John Boadu noted that it will take a visionary leader who is selfless with the requisite knowledge to harness both human and material resources for Ghana to develop.

Citing the difficulties businesses are facing in the country to buttress his point, he stated emphatically that “it is tantamount to absurdity if you decide to go into production in this country”.

The NPP man maintained that, it is cheaper to import manufactured products than to produce it here in Ghana due to the depreciation of the cedi.

John Boadu urged Ghanaians to brace themselves for the worse because the Mahama-led administration has no solution to mitigate the suffering of Ghanaians.

“We have our civil rights to criticize and demonstrate against government within the law but only God can help us get out of this economic mess” he stressed.
