Fans traveling from Kumasi to Tamale to watch the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between the Black Stars and their Guinean counterparts have been involved in an accident leaving one dead and several others injured.
The accident according to reports occurred on the Kumasi -Tamale highway, Wednesday afternoon.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Tamale Police.
Ghana plays Guinea in Tamale in the Northern region in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations competition next January.
