The Editor-in-Chief for the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr has won a defamation suit he filed against the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, in October 2018.
The Court has given Mr. Agyapong 30 days to retract and apologise to Kweku Baako three times on the platforms he used to defame the veteran journalist on. The court awarded GHS100,000 damages instead and a cost of GH¢30,000.
Reacting to his Victory, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr said on Newsfile that he would donate the money to Charity.
“You know I had a nickname Kweku Galamsey? There was no attempt to blackmail the president and there was no secret recording of Prez Akufo Addo by Anas. Ken simply lied. The money is not coming to me. Definitely, it’s going to charity. “ Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr said
