The showdown of the ‘Royal Storm’ Isaac Dogboe’s return to the ring comes off tomorrow in Las Vegas in a featherweight clash against American opponent, Chris Avalos.
Dogboe, 25, last bout was in May 2019, the fight that saw a failed attempt to recapture the WBO bantamweight title which he lost to Mexican fighter Emanuel Navarette.
The outcome of tomorrow’s fight will determine the future of the young Ghanian boxer, as he takes steps for a shot at the top of the sport again.
Despite his inability of winning a world title, Avalos appears the more experienced boxer with 27 victories from 34 fights, but his seven losses suggest there could be a way for the Ghanaian.
Dogboe, going in the fight, can boast of an impressive 20 wins from 22 bouts.
After losing two back-to-back bouts with his father as the trainer, the Ghanaian tuned to renowned trainer, Freddy Roach, but the spell lasted only a month.
