Pollster Ben Ephson has predicted that Peter Mac Manu when officially out-doored as the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s 2016 Campaign Manager in the coming days, will have a difficult time managing the drive.

According to him, persons surrounding the NPP Presidential Candidate Nana Akufo Addo are very troublesome and may not allow him the free hand to work effectively.

Ghnewsonline.com has privileged information that suggests Manu – seen by many within the NPP as one of its best chairmen in recent history – will lead what is expected to be a solid campaign that should guarantee flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo victory.

This website is able to report that the choice of the Industrialist and Businessman was made by Akufo-Addo himself.

Party sources tell us that Akufo-Addo has presented a list of people who will make up his campaign team to the National Council of Elders of the Party, who are expected to meet and deliberate on the choice this week. Largely, we are told, the candidature of Manu, will go unquestioned.

In an interview with Kasapa News, Monday Ephson said Mac Manu if confirmed will be a very good choice, adding he has all the requisite experience and competence to lead the campaign.

He however warned that the campaign team will fail to fly if impediments are put in the way of Mac Manu by persons close to the Flag bearer.

“Nana Akufo Addo must at all times ensure that Mr Mac Manu has direct access to him. The troublesome people around Nana will try to frustrate him by preventing him from seeing Nana regularly. But Nana will have himself to blame, if that should happen. Mac Manu is a grassroots person who knows how to do his politics and he must be allowed to do what he knows best to do.”
