The HFC Bank continues to establish strong presence in Kumasi with the opening of its fifth branch at Asokwa, to offer long-term funding for mortgages, in addition to core banking activities.

Dr Asare Akuffo, Managing Director (MD) of the bank, who was on hand to perform the inaugural ceremony, said it would help to foster greater commitment to its clientele, mostly owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
He said the bank, which has been operating in Ghana for the past 10 years, aims primarily at helping customers to grow their businesses.
“Our mortgage service is being supported by a subsidiary that builds houses, and we are proud to be the only bank among the 28 in the country with such diversified services.”
Among its products are the unit trust, consumer loans and the HFC boafo financial services.
Dr Akuffo hinted that these products would soon be extended to Sierra Leone.
